Siniša Komnenović Takes the Helm at Alma Career South

Alma Career, a leading provider of online employment services in Central and Eastern Europe, has appointed Siniša Komnenović as the new Regional Director for Alma Career South. This region encompasses Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, and Serbia, where Alma Career holds minority ownership and collaborates with partners in other countries.

In his new role, Komnenović will oversee operational business and strategic growth, fostering innovation and creating additional value for clients and job seekers. He brings extensive experience in business management, sales, and digital transformation. His ability to lead multicultural teams and achieve results in dynamic, technology-oriented environments makes him a valuable addition to the Alma Career team.

Prior to this position, Komnenović served as the CEO of Tifon, a member of the MOL Group, for seven years. There, he played a key role in strengthening organizational culture and aligning business goals with employee engagement, building a resilient and results-oriented organization.

His leadership style, enriched by executive experience and a strong academic background, reflects a deep understanding of business complexities, the importance of empowering teams, and a strategic approach to sustainable growth and development.

Komnenović will report directly to Vesa-Pekka Kirsi, Executive Vice President of Alma Career, who stated: "Siniša brings energy, vision, and regional understanding that will be invaluable for our continued success in Southern Europe. His proven track record in business development and leadership positions is crucial for expanding our influence and reach."

Komnenović holds a degree in management from the University of Rijeka and has furthered his education through business leadership programs at SEED and INSEAD. He currently resides and works in Zagreb.
